Welcome to the website of the Aldersbrook Horticultural Society.

The society was set up after some gardeners of the Aldersbrook Estate, East London, organised a very successful Garden Trail in June 2018.  We decided that the time was right to set up a local gardening group, with the aim of holding meetings to meet other gardeners, share knowledge and become better informed about gardening and the natural world. 

From the start, we have grown into a large organisation with more than 150 members & supporters; we hold monthly meetings, organise trips and garden, with the help of our teams of volunteers, the community gardens at Aldersbrook Bowls Club, Aldersbrook Medical Centre and the Rain Garden on Blake Hall Crescent/Belgrave Road. 

We sell plants and give gardening advice and organise the Aldersbrook and Lakehouse Gardening Trails every other year.
