Aldersbrook Horticultural Society was established in 2018 following the very successful garden trail which was held in the Summer.  We meet monthly on the second Tuesday of each month in Aldersbrook Bowls Club, with a range of speakers both local and national. We organise the Annual Aldersbrook and Lakehouse Garden Trail and we organise at least one trip a year to well known gardens.  We now have a large number of members and supporters who come to our meetings from outside the immediate areas of Aldersbrook & Lakehouse.

We have planted and maintain two local gardens used by members of the community – the Bowls Club garden and the garden at the Aldersbrook Medical Centre.  At the Medical Centre we are developing a gardening club and have planted three apple trees in memory of those who lost their lives during COVID.

We are a lively and friendly group – some experienced gardeners and allotmenteers; some who are novice gardeners and some who just enjoy listening to interesting talks on gardening, the environment and the natural world.

We are delighted that you have logged into our website and if you are not already a member please do consider joining.
